HAROLD KALOOGIAN, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.S., C.W.S. Dr. Kaloogian completed his Education at Michigan State University, Ohio College Of Podiatric Medicine and at Windom Area Hospital in 1985. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the California Podiatric Medical Association, the Western Podiatric Medical Congress, the San Diego County Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Professional Wound Care Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Wound Management. He became a Certified Wound Specialist in 2004. He has practices at the Rancho Santa Fe Medical Group, Inc./Mobile Doctor Medical Clinic in San Marcos as a Podiatric Physician & Surgeon and Podiatric Wound Care Specialist. He is affiliated with Tri-City Medical Center, Kindred Hospital, San Diego and Andros Laser & Medical Centers in La Jolla.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery, Laser Surgery, Collagen Implants and as a Wound Care Specialist. He is also a certified with the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Dr. Kaloogian is affiliated with the American Podiatric Medical Association and the California Podiatric Medical Association and he is a Delegate with the Western Podiatric Medical Congress.

Dr. Neil Levine Dr. Neil Levine, originally from Detroit, Michigan, went to the University of California at Berkeley where he graduated with a degree in Biology and continued to earn a Masters degree in Public Health Nutrition. He attended Medical School at the Medical College of Virginia and did his Internal Medicine Residency at UC San Diego. After Residency, Dr. Levine established his current practice in the Tri-City area with The Medical Group of North County, in Vista. His areas of special interest include geriatric care and nutrition. Dr. Levine has a well-rounded Internal Medicine background, including current positions as the Medical Director at Rancho Vista Senior Retirement Center, Assistant Medical Director at Hospice by the Sea in North County and District Health and Safety Officer for the Boy Scouts of America. His practice routinely involves the principles of wound and skin care and their relationship to proper nutrition and diet. Dr. Levine is married with two young daughters and a son the high school. He enjoys family time and supporting his children with the many extracurricular activities they participate in, especially their school band!
Dr. Donald Ponec Dr. Ponec joined North County Radiology in 1990. His specialization is in Interventional Radiology, with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is co-founder and Director of the San Diego Cardiac and Vascular Institute and Director of Interventional Radiology at Tri-City Medical Center. Dr. Ponec earned his BS degree at University of Southern California and graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He first moved to San Diego to complete his MD at University of California San Diego in 1979. Dr. Ponec maintains an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at UCSD. His interest in research was encouraged when he received an American Heart Association grant for the study of cardiac and vascular disease at UCSD. He attended University of California San Francisco for Radiology Residency and Interventional Radiology Fellowship. His active participation in research as the Principle or Co-investigator on multiple FDA-sponsored clinical trials has produced several publications. Also, he is the National Medical Expert for a major peripheral vascular study and a Distinguished Reviewer for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Kenneth Rehm Dr. Kenneth Rehm is a Diplomat of the American Board of Medical Specialties in Podiatry and is Board Certified in Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds. He graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, completed his Residency where he trained in Foot Surgery at Jacksonville General Hospital in 1977. He completed a Post-Doctoral fellowship, which was sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service at Gillis W. Long Hansen's Disease Center in Carville, Louisiana in Rehabilitative Medicine and Biomechanics with an emphasis on the High Risk, Insensitive and Diabetic Foot. He has lectured for medical and lay groups across the country, was consulting Editor to Podiatry Management Magazine and the Author of Dr. Rehm’s Foot Pain Manual. He has published numerous articles related to Podiatric medicine in professional journals. He is the Patent holder Inventor of a foot protective device-the Heal Evator and he formulated a line of foot care products specifically for the prevention of problems related to Diabetes. He is currently the Medical Director of the Diabetic Foot & Wound Treatment Centers in San Marcos, San Diego and El Centro, CA. He is currently the Director of the Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. He is the former Clinical Instructor for the Department of Surgery and Orthopedics and Podiatric Medical Director at CENTER FOR WOUND CARE at University of California, San Diego Medical Center, San Diego and the Jackson-Hinds Diabetic Foot Clinic, Jackson, MS, former Podiatric Medical Director of Diabetic Foot and Wound Treatment Program. Dr. Rehm loves Talk Radio and hosted a show in the early 90's "Just For the Health of It". He is passionate about Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention and loves the beach, which brought him to San Diego from Cleveland, Ohio.
Paul J. Haydu, MD, FACCWS Dr. Paul Haydu was born in New York City. He graduated from Boston University’s School of Medicine and completed a five-year Surgical Residency in 1977. Midway through his Residency he spent two years in the Navy, serving one year in Viet Nam, and the second at the San Diego Naval Hospital, practicing Emergency Medicine. After Residency, Dr. Haydu practiced Emergency Medicine at Palomar Medical Center and Pomerado Hospital for twenty-five years. He practiced Wound Care at Pomerado Hospital beginning at 2000. He was also on staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital’s Wound Care Center from it’s opening in June 2002 until its closing in September 2006. He is certified as a Specialist by the American Academy of Wound Management and is also a Fellow of the American College of Certified Wound Specialists. He is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. Dr. Haydu is married and has two daughters. He speaks Spanish. His hobbies include surfing, mountain biking and flying radio-controlled gliders. He enjoys Wound Care practice so much because of the opportunity it provides him to help people to improve their lifestyles and in the process heal difficult wounds.
