The role of the Chaplains in the Pastoral Care Department at Tri-City Medical Center is to be available to the patients, their families, and the hospital staff when requested with spiritual counseling and support.
To the Chaplains, the whole family is the patient. Each member of the family is important and needs to be ministered to appropriately. The goal of our Chaplains is to bring comfort, encouragement, faith, and hope to the patient, family, and/or staff in whatever way they can. Should there be a request for a specific clergy person, the on-duty Chaplain will strive to meet these needs.
A Chapel is located near the Main Lobby for all to use.
Families and patients can ask hospital personnel to contact a Chaplain for them, or they can call (760) 940-7954.
